When I hear the word family

When I hear the word family

It’s got a lot of meaning to me

It’s hard to understand for me

I’ve never really had a mother or father

They didn’t know me so they didn’t understand me

At times when I was at my low

They never give me there hand to me

This piece managed to convey very complex emotions and situations in simple language - and that’s not easy to do. I also admired the imaginative and modern use of emojis.
